Senator Alloway's Chambersburg Office Will Accept Donations For Charities, Serve Hot Chocolate During Parade

HARRISBURG – Senator Richard Alloway II's (R-33) district office will be open during the Chambersburg Christmas parade on Saturday, November 21, to accept donations for several local charities.

Alloway said that volunteers would be collecting coats for Coats for Kids Inc., nonperishable food items for local food pantries and pet food and supplies for the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter. Complimentary hot chocolate will also be served during the parade.

"As we kick off the holiday season, I am hopeful that district residents will stop by for a cup of hot chocolate and take part in the spirit of giving by helping these worthy charities," Alloway said.

The office, located at 37 South Main Street, will be open from 5 p.m. until the conclusion of the parade.
