Alloway Using Facebook to Keep Constituents Informed

HARRISBURG - Senator Richard Alloway II (R-33) recently signed up for the social networking site Facebook to better communicate with constituents.

Alloway uses the site to provide updates on legislation and important issues both in Harrisburg and in communities in the 33rd Senatorial District. The site also allows Alloway to gather input on issues from constituents.

"Facebook is a great tool for keeping up with old friends, but it is also useful as a way for elected officials to stay connected with the needs of the community," Alloway said. "I would encourage district residents to contact me on Facebook or on my website at senatoralloway.com for more information on state and local issues or to get help with any state-related issue."

Constituents can access the Senator's page by searching for Senator Richard Alloway on Facebook.
