Senator Alloway Appointed to Senate Ethics Committee

HARRISBURG – Senator Richard Alloway II (R-33) has been appointed to serve on the Senate Ethics and Official Conduct Committee for the current 2009-2010 legislative session.

"It is important for Pennsylvanians to have confidence in their state government, and this committee plays an important role in ensuring honest government," Alloway said. "It is an honor to be selected to serve as a member of this committee, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to ensure that the operations of state government are forthright."

Alloway also serves as Chairman of the Senate Game and Fisheries Committee and Vice-Chairman of the Senate Law and Justice Committee, and he is a member of the Senate Aging and Youth, Rules and Executive Nominations, and Local Government Committees.
