Senator Alloway

March 17, 2010 - Senator Richard Alloway met with a group of extraordinary children that are succeeding despite their disability. These children; Jesse Beers, Isaac Dickinson, and Kayla Sloan have Tourette Syndrome. Tourette Syndrome is a neurological disorder that causes them to have involuntary movements and vocalizations along with many other associated disorders. TS makes everyday life a challenge and especially within the educational environment. Lucky for these kids, Pennsylvania has an organization who supports, educates their schools, and promotes community awareness about this complex and highly misunderstood disability. Senator Richard Alloway supports the Pennsylvania Tourette Syndrome Alliance and all the good they do throughout the state.
