Number 250 (Alloway) – An Act amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in hunting and furtaking licenses, further providing for
unlawful acts concerning licenses; and, in special licenses and permits, further
providing for authority to issue permits, for permit fees and for falconry
permits.
This bill Amends Title 34 (Game) to allow the
Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) to establish regulations exempting certain
limited youth hunting activities from prohibitions set forth in the Game Code.
Such exemptions shall include a provision limiting a mentored youth
participating in a mentored youth hunting program to the receipt of no more than
one antlerless deer license in each license year. In addition this legislation
will make changes to falconry permits within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Consolidated Statutes, in hunting and furtaking licenses, further providing for
resident license and fee exemptions.
This bill amends Title 34 relating to Resident license
fees and exemptions, to allow all Commonwealth license issuing agents to now
sell reduced-fee Military personnel hunting licenses, Pennsylvania National
Guard hunting licenses, and Reserve component of armed forces hunting licenses. |
